Catching Up With Connie

Well, it is Connie's turn to do the blog again, and I know this segment is you guys favorite. Right? Yeah, I know. :-)

My mom is ordering me, oh I mean requesting, that I tell you about school. She says it is a school blog and school will be my subject today.

Math- I'm learning how to find the area of a cylinder. I'm doing fairly well, I'm doing fairly well in math in general.

Science- In science I'm going to the home school-school. It's the second semester and I'm having a lot of fun. The teacher is great. The students are cool. And the experiment are actually working. I'm learning a lot. The only thing is we have homework and there is a difference between doing science with friends and doing science it at home.

Literature- Literature is my favorite subject, always has and always will be. I love to read and I love to write and the program I am doing has both. I just read a bunch of poems and am about to read the Hobbit, which is exciting.

History- Is with mother and my sisters. We are doing ancient world and we are currently reading about Alexander the Great.

I think that sums up most of school. I do other things but they are boring and unimportant. I think I'm passing everything, Mom hasn't yelled at me in a while so I guess all is good.

Molly's Musings-January

hi. we had a big christmas. one of my favorite gifts was a new barbie. I really loved the latkes for Hanukkah. by molly

Dictated from Molly:
I love my new Polly Pocket toy. Mama built it for me. It is roller skating. I went to the zoo with my cousins the day after Christmas. It was really fun. We went to a movie before Christmas. It was called Arthur's Christmas. We went with Anay and her work. First we ate at McDonald's and it was funner because Alex came, too. After that we went to my Aunt's house to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah. We made crafts and little baggies for our mom's and dad's. After crafts we ate dinner. We had latkes and chicken fingers. On the first night of Hanukkah I got a groovy girl set. On the send night, I got a Hello Kitty water cooler for my room. Hanukkah is fun because every year we go to Aunt Lisa's house and we make dreidles by ourselves with candy. And we get a present for 8 days. And we light the candles. And we light candles for Advent, too.

Back with Belle

Hi there everyone. It's Belle here again. A lot has happened since the last time I was here. There was Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Years. I had fun with all of them, but now I am going to talk about Hanukkah and Christmas. I got so many presents that I ran out of things to ask for. I got LOTS of Georgia Bulldog stuff. I also got lots of WWII stuff. My favorite was my authentic WWII helmet. It is huge on my head but I wear it all the time and pretend I am in battle. (I use the Nerf gun I got to attack people). My family says it gets annoying. I also got paint to paint my room. I'm going to paint it red or green. Red for the bulldogs (go dawgs!) and green because it is my favorite. Another one of my favorite presents (which is pretty sad) is The Princess Bride on Blu-ray!!!! I got a weird assortment of presents. Some were boy like ( or most were ) and some were girly. I had an awesome holiday season! I hope everyone did too! Thanks for listening. See you next time on Back with Belle! :-)

Catching Up with Connie

What's up party people?

These past few months have been fun. We had a great Thanksgiving trip down to West Palm Beach, we saw family we don't normally get to see and that is always fun. Then after West Palm we went to Universal to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That was amazing! It was so detailed and everything was so cool!

Then the next month was December and December means two things, Hannukah and Christmas! Hannukah came on the 20th- 28th. It was a good Hannukah we had latkas and matzo ball soup. And eight days of Presents. I do not know how mom and dad do it... eight days of Hannukah and Christmas with five kids. That's a lot of shopping.

Then it was Christmas, Santa came on the 25th and then later that day we had my mom's mom's side of the family gathering. Then the next day we had my dad's mom side of the family gathering. Then the next day was my dad's dad's side of the family gathering. Oh, and the 23th was my mom's dad's side of the family gathering. All-in-all, there was a lot of family.

Some presents I got included: a bunch of Thor things, a camera, guitar, and a nook. There was a lot more but I try to keep things short and sweet, kinda like me. :-)

Then came New Years and 2011 came and went. I think it was a good year... and now comes 2012.
